Holistic Health Counseling is a holistic & integrative approach of coaching with the goal of bringing balance, harmony, and wholeness in all four body systems; mental, emotional, physical and spiritual.

Through a tailored wellness program, you are coached through healing core issues and negative patterns. Depending on your needs we will make use of integrative methods and coaching tools.

You can expect to come away from sessions with a personal plan designed to move you towards wellness & health in the areas of mind (thought life & patterns), emotions (emotions & relationships), physical (this can be physical health or physical surroundings/situations such as career or finance) and spiritual health (awareness & spirituality).

What are the benefits of Wellness Counseling?

  • Balance - stability of one's mind and emotions.

  • Wholeness - vitality and cohesion across the 4 body systems - Mental, Emotional, Physical, and Spiritual.

  • Wellness - going beyond feeling healthy to truly shining and living your purpose.

  • Clarity - get honest, find your authentic desires, let go that which no longer serves, and take responsibility for your life.

  • Empowerment - find strength and inspiration to make the changes you need to truly thrive

What we’ll accomplish together.
My goal as your wellness counselor is to guide you into developing a "wellness-state-of-mind.” Through our session, you will gain the tools and receive the encouragement and accountability necessary to make huge strides in your physical, emotional, and spiritual progress. Most importantly, I help you fall in love with wellness and make health your hobby.

What does "wellness" mean?
Wellness is the condition of being in good health, especially as an actively pursued goal. Wellness is a conscious, self-directed and evolving process of achieving full human potential. It is a multidimensional and holistic activity that includes lifestyle, occupational, intellectual, environmental and social well-being. And wellness is always upbeat and positive.

What is a session like?
Sessions take place in a private, serene, and comfortable space. While sipping tea, we zero in on what’s keeping you from living in a state of wellness. We find the missing pieces that are needed to make your journey to health doable and enjoyable.

On occasion, if the need arises, we may go out of the office. We might do a pantry makeover or conduct a grocery-shopping tutorial in an actual supermarket. We may meditate together or go for a walk while we chat.

Achieving wellness is a process.
The four pillars of health are lifestyle, exercise, attitude and nutrition (aka L.E.A.N). My goal to help you achieve a lasting state of wellness in each of these pillars. We all have the capability of healing ourselves.

Client Testimonials

"...the gift of wellness..."

"Ellen Freudberg is very intuitive in finding out what is wrong and knows how to help you make it better. She gave me the tools to begin healing myself. Working with her gives me the gift of wellness that just keeps on giving, day after day. Highly recommended."
-- Mare M.

"... different than any other coach I’ve ever worked with ..."

"Ellen is a treasure and there is no one on Earth like her. What she has to offer is different than any other coach I’ve ever worked with. She has a unique journey to share. She is a survivor and thriver, and she has a gift to share that will inspire others to be their healthier best selves."
-- Dana S.

"...being healthy ... is contagious..."

"When I first began to work with Ellie, I was overweight, depressed and uninspired. I was dissatisfied with my career and basically just watched TV at night and stuffed my face with all the processed junk food I could get my hands on. When Ellen first suggested I make “health my hobby,” I thought she was off her rocker and told her so. She asked me what my current hobby was. “Binge-watching Netflix,” I told her. That’s when I knew I had to change, and Ellen was there 100% of the time to support and guide me. After over a year of work with her, I am at my ideal weight, my fear of diabetes is gone (I never got it!), I work out, walk and stretch daily. The last time I ate junk food and sat all night in front of the TV was quite a while ago. I have a better hobby now -- being healthy. And it’s contagious -- my wife is now on the “make health your hobby” program along with me. Thank you, Ellen!"
