Yes, Insurance Plans are starting to cover acupuncture!

We accept all Health Savings and Flexible Spending plans for Acupuncture treatments.

If your insurance company does cover acupuncture we are happy to give you coded receipts for direct reimbursement* submittal.

*Direct Reimbursement is an out-of-network option where patients pay the full fee for the treatment and then submit their coded receipts to the insurance company for reimbursement.  We have seen patients get back up to 60% depending on their plan.

Please call your member services on the back of your insurance card to see if acupuncture is covered under your plan. When you are ready you can schedule online here.  If you have any questions feel free to call us at (610) 203-3747.

Why we choose to be out-of-network.

In-network insurance reimbursement would require us to work within a medical model that is not in line with how we treat our patients. Being under the restrictions of the insurance company would limit, not only our time, but also our flexibility to holistically treat our patients exactly as they should be. We strive to stay in integrity and keep our beautiful acupuncture traditions intact and being in network would hinder that.

We do recognize the importance of insurance and do everything in our power to help our patients get reimbursed as explained above. To ease financial burdens, we also have consciously chosen to offer community acupuncture for the typical price of a co-pay (see below).

We do offer Acupuncture for the price of a co-pay.

Because many insurance companies are not yet covering acupuncture. And because we enjoy the freedom in giving you full holistic care which may be limited by insurance companies. We offer an affordable acupuncture option for the price of a typical co-pay. $40! Learn more about our community acupuncture offering.
